What a stupid son of a bitch,\u201d Biden sneered into a hot mic.<\/p>\n<p>The president\u2019s vulgar insult was cut from the White House video feed but was audible on video streamed by C-SPAN.<\/p>\n<p>Doocy\u2019s question about inflation came after a Fox News poll released Sunday found that\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/fox-news-poll-voters-reluctant-biden-second-term\">85 percent\u00a0<\/a>of Americans are worried about inflation, which\u00a0hit a 40-year high of 7 percent\u00a0in December.<\/p>\n<p>When \u201cThe Five\u201d co-host Jesse Watters joked with Doocy shortly after Biden lost his temper, \u201cI think the president\u2019s right, you are a stupid SOB,\u201d the correspondent deadpanned, \u201cYeah nobody has fact-checked him yet and said it\u2019s not true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But he defended his question on its merits moments later in a different TV <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance.<\/p>\n<p>In a remote setup with \u201cSpecial Report\u201d host Bret Baier, Doocy, the son of \u201cFox &amp; Friends\u201d morning host Steve Doocy, explained: \u201cHe didn\u2019t want to take any questions off-topic. He was at an event about inflation, and so I asked one on inflation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s rare for a president to call someone a \u201cson of a bitch\u201d \u2014 especially to their face. And this is really important. I had a very, very, very good meeting. Total unanimity with all the European leaders. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.)\u00a0tweeted\u00a0after that remark, \u201cThis is extremely sexist and uncalled for. @JacquiHeinrich is a well-prepared, smart reporter, and Biden should apologize immediately.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt isn\u2019t a stupid question,\u201d\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BrettBruen\/status\/1484282222660276228\">tweeted Brett Bruen<\/a>, a White House adviser to President Barack Obama. \u201cIt\u2019s a really important one. We continue to allow Putin to set the terms, timeline, &amp; trajectory of this crisis. Look what I said. Go back and read what I said and tell me if you think I called anyone who voted on the side of the position taken by Bull Connor that they were Bull Connor,\u201d Biden fumed. \u201cThat is an interesting reading of English. You \u2014 I assume you got into journalism because you liked to write.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump routinely blasted \u201cfake\u00a0news\u201d or \u201cthird-rate\u201d reporters and contended that some were \u201cthe enemy of the people\u201d \u2014 often spurring significant media condemnation of his remarks.<\/p>\n<p>Biden campaigned on restoring civility to public life and\u00a0warned aides on his first day in office\u00a0that he would\u00a0\u201cfire [them] on the spot\u201d if they \u201ctreat another colleague with disrespect or talk down to someone.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>But he\u2019s since\u00a0built a record of mean-spirited exchanges with journalists.<\/p>\n<p>In July, Biden\u00a0knocked NBC News reporter Kelly O\u2019Donnell\u00a0for disobeying his request for questions \u201cabout Iraq\u201d when she asked Biden instead about reports that the Department of Veterans Affairs would\u00a0require staff to get vaccinated\u00a0against COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are such a pain in the neck. But I\u2019m going to answer your question because we\u2019ve known each other for so long. It has nothing to do with Iraq,\u201d Biden said, before confirming that the VA would be the first federal agency to compel vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Biden\u00a0lashed out at CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins\u00a0when she shouted a question at a press conference in Geneva following\u00a0his summit with Putin.\u00a0Hours earlier,\u00a0Biden and Putin watched\u00a0in apparent amusement as Putin\u2019s guards shoved US reporters at that gathering.<\/p>\n<p>Collins asked, \u201cWhy are you so confident he\u2019ll change his behavior, Mr. President?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not confident he\u2019ll change his behavior! What the hell? What do you do all of the time? When did I say I was confident?\u201d Biden shot back as he walked toward her with his finger in the air.<\/p>\n<p>The president erupted again when Collins followed up by noting how Putin had denied any involvement in cyberattacks against the US and downplayed Russia\u2019s human rights violations, then asked Biden how their meeting could be considered constructive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you don\u2019t understand that, you\u2019re in the wrong business,\u201d Biden shot back before storming off.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after that encounter, \u00a0Biden apologized \u201cfor having been short\u201d with Collins before boarding his return flight to the US.<\/p>\n<p>The White House had no immediate response to Monday\u2019s incident.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
