The Connecticut teenage smoothie store worker who filmed the viral video of a Merrill Lynch financial advisor\u2018s racist rant claimed he also \u201cthreatened to kill us multiple times.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charli Hill, 17, told WFSB<\/a> that she started to record dad James Iannazzo\u2019s angry tirade because of the threats he was making against her and her 18-year-old co-worker Gianna Miranda.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe started to call her racial slurs, and he threatened to kill us multiple times,\u201d Hill told the local station.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was banging on the door \u2014 he was trying to push the door. We didn\u2019t know if he was going to jump over the counter,\u201d she said of the now-viral moment Saturday at the Robeks store in Fairfield.<\/p>\n

The clip catches Iannazzo calling Miranda a \u201cf\u2014ing immigrant\u201d and throwing a smoothie at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe threw the smoothie at me, and in my head I was just like, \u2018Wow. Did you really just do that?\u2019\u201d Miranda told News 12<\/a> in a separate interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cMe and my two coworkers had to, like, hold the door because he was pushing it open,\u201d she said of the 48-year-old dad\u2019s attempts to reach their workspace.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was kind of scary, I\u2019m not gonna lie,\u201d she told WFSB. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018I don\u2019t know his intention or what he was going to do.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re literally high schoolers, and for you to say that to us \u2014 it\u2019s not right at all.\u201d<\/p>\n

The teen added, \u201cHe has kids of his own. Imagine being a parent and your kid telling you that happ<\/a>ened at work.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miranda told News<\/a> 12 that until Saturday she had only seen such racist attacks on social media<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo actually experience it first hand \u2026 I just felt disrespected,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Iannazzo has said he only flipped out because he was \u201cout of my mind with fear\u201d for his 17-year-old son who was hospitalized with a severe reaction to peanut butter that the dad insists he told staff not to put in the drink.<\/p>\n

He was charged with intimidation based on bigotry or bias, breach of peace and criminal trespass, and is due in court Feb. 7.<\/p>\n

He was also cut loose by Merrill Lynch, which said, \u201cOur company does not tolerate behavior of this kind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Admitting his actions were \u201cwrong,\u201d Iannazzo added that \u201cthey do not reflect my values or my character. I feel terrible that I lost my composure so completely.\u201d<\/p>\n

His attorney, Frank J. Riccio, also insisted, \u201cHe is not a racist and deeply regrets his statement and actions during a moment of extreme emotion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hill, however, said such anger and distress \u201cgives you absolutely no right to act out like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Morgan said that she wants more than a publicly issued apology.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to have a face-to-face \u2014 like, him tell me to my face that he is sorry,\u201d she told News 12.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
