Simmons and Jacob Scipio for the upcoming film adaptation, based on the comic created by Gail Simone with art by Ardian Syaf.<\/p>\n<p>While details of the movie are still hushed, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/01\/batgirl-ivory-aquino-to-play-alysia-yeoh-in-hbo-max-movie-1234918905\/\">Deadline reported <\/a>that the movie will focus on Batgirl\u2019s battle with the villain Firefly, played by Fraser. Additionally, Alex Danvers, the sister of Supergirl played by Chyler Leigh, came out as a lesbian during the series.
