{"id":399299,"date":"2022-01-25T19:05:16","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T16:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/podcast-host-would-leave-wife-if-she-lets-herself-go-post-childbirth\/"},"modified":"2022-01-25T19:05:16","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T16:05:16","slug":"podcast-host-would-leave-wife-if-she-lets-herself-go-post-childbirth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/podcast-host-would-leave-wife-if-she-lets-herself-go-post-childbirth\/","title":{"rendered":"#Podcast host would leave wife if she &#8216;lets herself go&#8217; post-childbirth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Podcast host would leave wife if she &#8216;lets herself go&#8217; post-childbirth<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/podcast.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The male hosts of \u201cThe No Filter Podcast\u201d sparked a massive backlash over recent comments made about post-partum bodies \u2014 but they\u2019re not backing down.<\/p>\n<p>In <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/foryou?is_from_webapp=v1&amp;item_id=7051624660395511086#\/@nofilterpod_\/video\/7051624660395511086\">a viral exchange on the show<\/a> \u2014 created by Anthony Casasanta, Nick Casasanta and their buddy Jason Girratano \u2014 co-host Anthony put his future wife on blast. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf my wife lets herself go after I have kids with her, I\u2019m going to tell her, once: \u2018If you don\u2019t get your s\u2013t together\u2026 If you can\u2019t do that, I\u2019m out,&#8217;\u201d Anthony said in the video, which has amassed 2 million views.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI still want to be sexually attracted to my wife, to my spouse .. Girlfriend, too,\u201d he added, as the co-hosts piped up in agreement. <\/p>\n<p>The comments garnered intense backlash, but Anthony told The Post that he and his co-hosts have no regrets about the remarks, saying: \u201cWe are not sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s also not only about weight gain after childbirth, it\u2019s also about mental health as well as the physical health,\u201d Anthony told The Post via direct message on Instagram. \u201cWe feel like it\u2019s very important to hold spouses, both men and women to a high standard. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs for the people that ridiculed us for making this claim, we are not sorry,\u201d he continued. \u201cThis is what we prefer and we\u2019re allowed to have our opinion on things just like they\u2019re allowed to have their views on certain things, it\u2019s none of our business what their opinion on things are, therefore they should respect our view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps these guys haven\u2019t heard the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>: \u201cmom bods\u201d are in.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nofilterpod_\">TikTok account<\/a> for the podcast, which launched earlier this month, invites visitors to \u201cEnjoy the controversy!\u201d Their video of the exchange \u2014 captioned \u201cGoes for the man too! Stay on point!\u201d \u2014 doesn\u2019t currently allow comments, but it didn\u2019t stop baffled viewers from making response videos.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Out of the now 80 response videos, many of which featured <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@scottystyle\/video\/7055042282797534511\">outraged women calling the host a \u201cmoron\u201d<\/a> or <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@livmakesnoisetok\/video\/7055065377897778433?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1\">saying it\u2019s \u201cred flag\u201d behavior<\/a>, a few attracted viral attention.<\/p>\n<p>Chance Terry, known on TikTok as @chancejterry, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@chancejterry\/video\/7054904980775685423\">crafted his own response<\/a> as he sipped coffee nonchalantly in his bathroom mirror.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s way too f\u2013king early for this s\u2013t,\u201d he began the video. \u201cI don\u2019t know why the algorithm sent you my way but here we go.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWake the f\u2013k up, man,\u201d Terry ranted. \u201cNobody else is living their life specifically for your wants and needs. Like, do the s\u2013t that makes you h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y, but don\u2019t impose your unrealistic expectations and regulations on someone else\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s called manipulation. That\u2019s called control. And forgive the living f\u2013k out of me, but this just screams, \u2018I don\u2019t have an emotionally intimate bone in my body,&#8217;\u201d he concluded his video, which has more than 1 million views.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>Terry\u2019s response received more than 12,000 comments, many of which applauded his retort.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe good men of TikTok are speaking,\u201d praised one user.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou sir, are a real man. Take notes boys,\u201d commented another fan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe fact that dad bods are a thing while women are expected to stay fit and thin after multiple pregnancies\u2026 says all you need to know,\u201d wrote someone else.<\/p>\n<p>The inflammatory comments made by the podcast hosts also were noticed by other TikTok users, namely Daniel Seong, known as @seonglife.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>\u201cHow dare you make them feel bad for having your child?\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@seonglife\/video\/7055178645920451886\">he said in the clip, which has topped 118,000 likes<\/a>. \u201cPost-partum is a real thing\u2026 and they don\u2019t need you to shove that down their throat. Honor your spouse. Love your spouse. Unconditionally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anthony \u2014 who lives in Wayne, New Jersey, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ant_c123\">his Twitter account<\/a> \u2014 said he and his fellow podcasters felt their comments were \u201ctaken out of context,\u201d though they were expecting \u201cnegative\u201d backlash anyway. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were talking years down the line after childbirth. We just don\u2019t want our wives to be obese,\u201d he told The Post. \u201cWe feel as if society promotes obesity which is a very unhealthy and uncomfortable way of living. We promote healthy lifestyles here at NoFilterPod.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that the show turned off commenting on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> \u2014 including on their own personal accounts \u2014 \u201cdue to the fact that we were getting death threats along with our extended families who have nothing to do with this matter at all.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe felt it was very unfair that the people who didn\u2019t make any of these claims were involved,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony also suggested that detractors have a simple way to tune out remarks they don\u2019t appreciate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hear and see all the hate that we are getting, if you don\u2019t like what we say simply don\u2019t watch and listen to our podcast,\u201d he told The Post.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
