{"id":399353,"date":"2022-01-26T10:05:08","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T07:05:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/peter-robbins-original-charlie-brown-voice-actor-dead-at-65\/"},"modified":"2022-01-26T10:05:08","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T07:05:08","slug":"peter-robbins-original-charlie-brown-voice-actor-dead-at-65","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/peter-robbins-original-charlie-brown-voice-actor-dead-at-65\/","title":{"rendered":"#Peter Robbins, original Charlie Brown voice actor, dead at 65"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Peter Robbins, original Charlie Brown voice actor, dead at 65<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/charlie-brown.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Peter Robbins, the original voice actor of Charlie Brown in the 1960s \u201cPeanuts\u201d shows, died last week at the age of 65.<\/p>\n<p>Relatives told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/fox5sandiego.com\/entertainment\/charlie-brown-voice-actor-dies-at-65\/\">Fox 5 San Diego<\/a> that Robbins committed suicide.<\/p>\n<p>Robbins, a California native, began voicing Charlie Brown at just 9 years old.<\/p>\n<p>He also provided the voice of the title character in 1965\u2019s \u201cA Charlie Brown Christmas\u201d and 1966\u2019s \u201cIt\u2019s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Robbins battled lifelong mental illness, struggled with addiction and had several run-ins with the law as an adult.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, he pleaded guilty to threatening and stalking both his ex-girlfriend and a plastic surgeon who gave her a breast enhancement he paid for.<\/p>\n<p>He also spent time behind bars for making criminal threats to a San Diego County sheriff.<\/p>\n<p>After his release from prison in 2019, he discussed his time behind bars in an interview with Fox 5 San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would recommend to anybody that has bipolar disorder to take it seriously because your life can turn around in the span of a month, like it did to me,\u201d Robbins told the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> outlet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI came out of prison and I\u2019m a better person for it.
