“#LL COOL J Flexes On 50 Cent + Soulja Boy 'Money' Challenge With Classic Throwback<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\nThe money challenge has taken social media<\/a> by storm over the last several days. A sizable roster of rapp<\/a>ers and celebrities have participated in the challenge in a plethora of ways \u2014 whether they\u2019re using actual cash to spell out a phrase or making a point by using toilet paper to spell out things such as \u201cIRS Watching.\u201d<\/p>\n

But as 50 Cent and Soulja Boy clash over who did it first, LL COOL J is reminding everyone he had the idea in the 1980s, long before 50 Cent was \u201cIn Da Club\u201d or Soulja Boy was \u201ccranking that.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Tuesday (January 25), LL COOL J shared a Twitter photo of himself in what looks like a magazine. In the photo, the young LL is laying shirtless next to his name, which had been spelled out in ice. The text above the photo read, \u201cI was the coolest\u2014literally\u2014spelling my name in ice cubes.\u201d\u00a0Granted, it\u2019s not quite the money challenge, but he got the point across. As he wrote in the caption, \u201cBeen there.\u201d<\/p>\n
