{"id":399443,"date":"2022-01-26T03:16:01","date_gmt":"2022-01-26T00:16:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/actress-alicia-witt-opens-up-about-parents-sudden-deaths\/"},"modified":"2022-01-26T03:16:01","modified_gmt":"2022-01-26T00:16:01","slug":"actress-alicia-witt-opens-up-about-parents-sudden-deaths","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/actress-alicia-witt-opens-up-about-parents-sudden-deaths\/","title":{"rendered":"#Actress Alicia Witt opens up about parents\u2019 sudden deaths"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Actress Alicia Witt opens up about parents\u2019 sudden deaths<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>A little over a month since the parents of \u201cDune\u201d actress Alicia Witt were mysteriously found dead, the 46-year-old has taken to <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> to discuss her relationship with them and her grieving process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt still doesn\u2019t feel real,\u201d the \u201cWalking Dead\u201d cast member began an <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CZKP-OBuyvd\/\">Instagram caption<\/a> on a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of photos of her and her late parents. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a month since I got scared, not having heard back from them, and called to have them checked on. waiting, phone in hand, praying fervently that the next call would be from them, angry I\u2019d gotten someone else involved,\u201d recalled Witt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After her call, the bodies of her mother and father \u2014 Robert Witt, 87, and Diane Witt, 75 \u2014 were discovered at their Worcester, Massachusetts, residence <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wcvb.com\/article\/actress-alicia-witt-parents-found-dead-worcester-statement\/38884722#\">on Dec. 20, 2021<\/a>, according WCVB. Their deaths are now suspected to have been caused by hypothermia, as they\u2019d reportedly been experiencing furnace issues and one of them had a coat on, the Daily Mail reported. (The temperature in their city dropped <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.almanac.com\/weather\/history\/MA\/Worcester\/2021-12-19#\">as low as 24 degrees F on Dec. 19<\/a>.) I never imagined I would have to talk about this publicly \u2014 much less, amidst overwhelming floods of grief,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI hadn\u2019t been allowed inside my parents\u2019 home for well over a decade; every time I offered to have something repaired for them, they refused to allow workers into their house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They were \u201cnot penniless,\u201d she clarified, only \u201cfiercely stubborn.\u201d She found herself at a loss to help them short of petitioning the court system for legal allowance to.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur last words to each other were \u2018I love you\u2019. that part was simple; never in doubt. They loved me so. I loved them so,\u201d she concluded the post on her Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>Lt. In addition to Alicia, the Witts also have a son, Ian.<\/p>\n<p id=\"block-0aced38a-0186-4fae-9bc9-de4974f5b02c\">Witt shot to fame in the mid-1980s after being discovered by director David Lynch.
