\nDrew Barrymore<\/strong> is looking back on her \u201cyoung and wild\u201d days!<\/p>\n

During an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em> on Thursday, the 46-year-old actress and guest Kate Hudson<\/strong> took a trip<\/a> down memory lane when they both were dating the Wilson brothers. While reminiscing about how they first got to know each other in the early aughts through the siblings, Barrymore said:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we first met, we were young and wild.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The 42-year-old Bride Wars<\/em> star then chimed in, recalling:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it was at a bar\/restaurant \u2026 Chez Jay\u2019s in Santa Monica, with Luke [Wilson].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

They remembered that Hudson was there because she was filming Alex & Emma<\/em> with Luke Wilson<\/strong> at the time. As for Drew, she confessed she was only in attendance that day because she \u201cwas dating him, but I think he was also dating other people.\u201d The Never Been Kissed<\/em> star immedia<\/a>tely clarified that Luke wasn\u2019t cheating on her back then, stating:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an open relationship; we were young.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

WHAT!!!<\/p>\n

We know a lot of celebs do stuff like this, but they\u2019re usually pretty quiet about it. So good for her!<\/p>\n

Laughing off the reveal, Hudson then admitted she had \u201cbeen there with a Wilson, too.\u201d Woah! App<\/a>arently, the brothers had an MO when it came to their romantic relationships back in the day! In case you didn\u2019t know, the Almost Famous<\/em> actress was in an on-again-off-again romance with Luke\u2019s older brother Owen Wilson<\/strong> after they worked on the movie You, Me and Dupree<\/em> together back in 2006.<\/p>\n

Looking back on that time in her life, Barrymore realized how there were such \u201clow stakes\u201d then, explaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so funny because when you\u2019re young it\u2019s like, \u2018It\u2019s low stakes. We\u2019re just young, we\u2019re having fun, we\u2019re playing, acting, hanging out.\u2019 You\u2019re not taking it all so seriously, and it was fun and we had the best time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hudson agreed, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did, we had the best time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To be young in Hollywood, huh!<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the interview, Barrymore also praised Hudson for the impression she did of her for an episode of Saturday Night Live<\/em> in 2000. Goldie Hawn<\/strong>\u2019s daughter shared of that moment:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s your mouth \u2026 also, you have so much expression in your face, you know? So I was like, if I just commit to the expression \u2014 and you do that thing where you get really excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, it turns out the Scream<\/em> alum didn\u2019t even know her mouth moved in a certain way until she starred alongside Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> in Fever Pitch<\/em> five years later when he mentioned it:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018I love how crooked your mouth is, the side of your face.\u2019 I never noticed it before Jimmy Fallon said it to me on the set of Fever Pitch<\/em>! And now I see it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
