{"id":400561,"date":"2022-01-28T20:22:36","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T17:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/southwest-airlines-considers-selling-alcohol-on-flight-again\/"},"modified":"2022-01-28T20:22:36","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T17:22:36","slug":"southwest-airlines-considers-selling-alcohol-on-flight-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/southwest-airlines-considers-selling-alcohol-on-flight-again\/","title":{"rendered":"#Southwest Airlines considers selling alcohol on flight again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Southwest Airlines considers selling alcohol on flight again<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Southwest Airlines may soon be ready to bring booze back to its flights, months after pausing alcohol service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas-based airline originally planned to resume serving alcohol to passengers \u201caround the middle of February,\u201d but decided against it to limit contact with crews during the Omicron surge, CEO Greg Kelly told analysts during a conference call Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As the Omicron surge showing signs of hitting its peak, Southwest is aiming to serve booze again within the next few months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re looking at that here sometime in late in the first quarter, maybe early in the second quarter,\u201d Kelly added, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/seekingalpha.com\/article\/4482242-southwest-airlines-co-luv-ceo-gary-kelly-on-q4-2021-results-earnings-call-transcript\">according to a transcript of the call<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Southwest Airlines originally suspended alcohol service in March 2020, citing safety concerns for both passengers and crews in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
