It\u2019s Jeff O\u2019Neill talking,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/The-Shift\/video\/the-shift-evander-kane---part-1~2370256\">Kane told TSN<\/a>. \u201cHe said something about me in a negative way and then followed it up by saying \u2018he just needs to focus on having a better relationship with his daughter.\u2019 Infuriated would be an understatement when I heard that. Infuriated. Because you are literally making a judgment about my relationship with my daughter and trying to use that in a negative way to portray me? That\u2019s ridiculous. That\u2019s crossing the line. I wish Jeff played in the NHL right now. That\u2019s how mad I was.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, O\u2019Neill, an analyst for TSN who played in the NHL from 1995-2007, took part in a discussion of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LmCBmNZ6lLw&amp;t=239s\">potential interest in Kane<\/a>, who was accused of gambling on NHL <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s amid a high-profile divorce this offseason. Reports of Sharks teammates\u2019 dislike of Kane, the team\u2019s leading scorer last season, were following by a 21-game suspension for using a fake COVID-19 vaccine card and a demotion to the AHL. And that\u2019s one thing, but he\u2019s got to try to fix himself, his relationship with his kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In December, Kane was granted sole custody of his young daughter as divorce proceedings with estranged wife Anna continue. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople will go that extra mile to include whatever they think is juicy enough to continue to paint me in such a negative, toxic, evil way,\u201d Kane said. \u201cBy making up and insinuating that I have a poor relationship with my daughter.
