On Friday, Young <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/neilyoungarchives.com\/news\/1\/article?id=Spotify-More-Songs-Less-Sound\">shared a new statement on his website<\/a>, saying that he &#8220;felt better&#8221; once his music was removed from the platform. <\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Young&#8217;s new statement focuses on his criticisms of Spotify&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> and business model. &#8220;AMAZON, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">APP<\/a>LE MUSIC and Qobuz deliver up to 100% of the music today and it sounds a lot better than the shitty degraded and neutered sound of SPOTIFY, &#8221; Young writes. &#8220;If you support SPOTIFY, you are destroying an art form. Business over art.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>            The letter also pushes back on claims that Young is advocating for censorship by removing his music. &#8220;I support free speech. I have never been in favor of censorship. Private companies have the right to choose what they profit from, just as I can choose not to have my music support a platform that disseminates harmful information. It\u2019s just math. It\u2019s easy to do that with digital, thus allowing more songs and less music to stream faster. That\u2019s because 95% is missing. Thats what SPOTIFY the Tech company does.
