TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> themselves experienced exactly that on their way to the big screen, according to the new book \u201cFrom Hollywood With Love: The Rise and Fall (and Rise Again) of the Romantic Comedy,\u201d by Scott Meslow (Dey St.), out Feb. 1.<\/p>\n<p>Here are surprising stories from six of the most beloved rom-coms of the past few decades.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%98When_Harry_Met_Sally\"><\/span>\u2018When Harry Met Sally\u2019<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the initial <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; They also agreed to shoot it two ways \u2014 one with just a small hair bump; the other, as Meslow writes, \u201ca massive, vertical spike of hair sticking straight up from Diaz\u2019s forehead, described in the script as an \u2018ACE VENTURA-STYLE WAVE\u2019 and so rock-hard you could cut a diamond with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the first style might have preserved Diaz\u2019s dignity. But the moment she left her trailer sporting the second version, the film\u2019s crew burst into wild laughter, making the choice obvious. Other actors considered for the role included Matthew McConaughey, Edward Burns and Matthew Perry \u2014 who wasn\u2019t cast because he and Roberts were dating in real life and director P.J. Hogan was nervous about them breaking up.<\/p>\n<p>But Hogan most wanted Russell Crowe for the role, because the director considered him \u201cprobably the most amazing actor I had ever encountered.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roberts, however, had casting approval, and a reading was arranged to see if she and Crowe had chemistry. The result, according to Hogan, was one of the worst table reads he had ever experienced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRussell was seated opposite Julia. He gripped that script, and he stared at that script, and he didn\u2019t look at her once. He read every line in a monotone,\u201d Hogan says in the book. \u201cAt one point, Julia was literally leaning over the table, staring, like, inches from Russell\u2019s face, trying to make eye contact. As such, he expected to cast an actor who was not quite so handsome. He actually had Alan Rickman in mind. But he had a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/henrygolding\/?hl=en\">prolific Instagram account<\/a>, and that is how director Jon M.
