“#Wild pool party shut down by police at New Jersey mansion<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n A massive rager at a mansion in New Jersey\u2019s richest zip code was shut down by cops over the weekend \u2014 and neighbors say wild Vegas-like blowouts have been regularly held there despite the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

Hundreds of carefree revelers \u2014 most without masks \u2014 were spotted outside the home on Hemlock Drive in Alpine for what promoters called \u201cThe Lavish Experience Pool Party\u201d Saturday night, NBC New York reported.<\/p>\n

Cops eventually were called to break up the bash, which spilled out onto the street with zero regard for social<\/a> distancing rules.<\/p>\n

One person was seen taken away in an ambulance, while others were passed out drunk on the front lawn, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n

A neighbor told The Post that the wild affairs have been a regular occurrence since May, at the height of the coronavirus crisis. She said she\u2019s seen party buses dropping off people for the bashes \u2014 which are brazenly advertised on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cA few months ago, new neighbors moved in, renters,\u201d the neighbor said. \u201cThey started having parties one weekend after another. They were bringing in full party buses, at least 100 people or more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another neighbor who didn\u2019t want to be named told NBC New York the house is practically doubling as a \u201cnightclub.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been to Vegas a number of times and this is like a pool party that they throw there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Last month, an event dubbed \u201cBikinpalooza\u201d was hosted there and another party was planned for this weekend.<\/p>\n

One woman told NBC New York that she and her pals spent $1,000 to attend Saturday\u2019s function, which included a shuttle ride from Brooklyn to the Garden State.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what kind of scheme, or what they was doing, what kind of scam it was, but I don\u2019t app<\/a>reciate how I was treated, my friends were treated, how packed it was,\u201d the woman said.<\/p>\n

A man who identified himself as the host denied that partygoers paid to get in.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is absolutely out of hand. I agree with all of that,\u201d he told the outlet Saturday night. \u201cThis is not how we do things. It got out of control.\u201d<\/p>\n

The parties are now under investigation by local police, state officials and the Bergen County Prosecutor\u2019s Office, Alpine Mayor Paul Tomasko told NBC New York.<\/p>\n

Gov. Phil Murphy didn\u2019t say what punishment the homeowner or hosts could face for throwing the parties as the state grapples with an increase in COVID-19 cases.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on the description, there was close congregation and not a lot of face covering, if any,\u201d Murphy said at his daily press briefing Monday. \u201cIf in fact people are busted and there was a promoted party, that\u2019s not going to end well.\u201d<\/p>\n

The owner of the mansion is listed as Joseph LaBarbiera, a personal injury attorney.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t immediately return messages.<\/p>\n

Alpine was ranked the most expensive zip code in New Jersey last year by Investopedia. The median household income there is $188,539 with a median home price of $1.8 million.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
