Yet, she did make it clear to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/chrissy-metz-on-if-future-kate-will-be-in-this-is-us-flash-forward\/\">Us Weekly<\/a> that she is excited for the opportunity to play a flash-forward version of her character, is one arises:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cIt\u2019s interesting. I have been on interviews where I have said something and then the story has changed and I was like, \u2018Oh, gosh.\u2019 So who knows? \u2026 I know that I have different wigs for different times, but I don\u2019t know if they\u2019re gonna actually finalize me at a particular age or what\u2019s gonna happen. So I\u2019m not sure because sometimes it\u2019s down to the wire. We\u2019re like, \u2018Ah, we\u2019re gonna change something.\u2019 But I can\u2019t wait.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI would love to see Kate aged up or [in] prosthetics. Jon [Huertas] and Mandy [Moore] go through three-and-a-half hours of prosthetics, and I\u2019m like, \u2018I wanna do that.\u2019 So we\u2019ll see. We\u2019ll see. I hope so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the very least, we know Kate makes it a handful of years into the future, given that she eventually gets married to Phillip.
