{"id":401600,"date":"2022-01-31T09:13:55","date_gmt":"2022-01-31T06:13:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/sean-mcvay-zac-taylor-set-to-square-off-in-super-bowl-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-01-31T09:13:55","modified_gmt":"2022-01-31T06:13:55","slug":"sean-mcvay-zac-taylor-set-to-square-off-in-super-bowl-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/sean-mcvay-zac-taylor-set-to-square-off-in-super-bowl-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"#Sean McVay, Zac Taylor set to square off in Super Bowl 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Sean McVay, Zac Taylor set to square off in Super Bowl 2022<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Sean McVay won\u2019t be the only wunderkind in the Super Bowl this time around.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Three years after squaring off against a legendary head coach 33 years his senior, the 36-year-old McVay led the Rams back to the Promised Land, where he will match wits in Super Bowl 2022 against the Bengals\u2019 Zac Taylor in a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> made for some \u201cFabulous Under-40\u201d list.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The 38-year-old Taylor, who was the Rams quarterbacks coach under McVay when they lost Super Bowl LIII to Bill Belichick\u2019s Patriots, steered the Bengals to an 18-point comeback and overtime upset of the Chiefs on Sunday in the AFC Championship game. About three hours later, McVay\u2019s Rams completed a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback to halt a six-game losing streak against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>y for Zac Taylor and the Bengals \u2014 what a tough, resilient group they are. We have some more work to do,\u201d McVay said. \u201cYou look at the start of that [Bengals-Chiefs] game, it didn\u2019t look good for them. They\u2019ve just continued to show why they are a mentally tough outfit. I think that\u2019s reflected by their head coach. Joe Burrow, 25, could join Joe Montana, Russell Wilson, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Ben Roethlisberger as the only starting quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl at age 25 or younger.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There will be some veterans with something to say about it, however.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who turns 34 on Feb. 7, is trying to make up for 12 lost seasons with the Lions. The Rams have adopted a win-it-for-Aaron Donald mentality, even though he is only 30. And Von Miller, 32, is chasing a second ring after the lean years that followed his Super Bowl 50 MVP performance for the Broncos.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just like having a second kid,\u201d Miller said. \u201cYou love the first one. When you have another, you love the second kid, too. But they are both totally different. You want to separate the two. Some of the special things we did that year I try to apply to this team.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the fourth Super Bowl appearance for the Rams (winners in 2000) and the third for the Bengals, who lost twice to the 49ers in the 1980s. The slightly favored Rams will try to become the second straight Super Bowl winner celebrating in its home stadium \u2014 the Buccaneers won in Tampa Bay last February \u2014 after the host city failed to send a team in each of the first 54 Super Bowls.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s great that it\u2019s here, but if we\u2019re playing in it I don\u2019t have a sh\u2013 where it is,\u201d Stafford said. \u201cI just want to play in the dang thing.\u201d\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
