What\u2019s more, image quality has never been better.<\/p>\n<p>There are two dominant display technologies available at the moment: LED-lit LCD TVs and self-emissive OLED displays. These differing <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roaches to producing an image have their own sets of pros and cons, and you should be sure you understand the difference between them before you buy.<\/p>\n<p>Standard LED-lit LCD TVs use a backlight to shine through the display \u201cstack\u201d to produce an image. To produce a black image, the backlight must be \u201cblocked\u201d by the thin-film substrate (TFT) layer, often resulting in washed-out blacks and a poor contrast ratio.<\/p>\n<p>The newest LED-LCD TVs use dimming algorithms to produce deeper blacks by turning off the backlight in darker areas. This can result in black crush\u00a0where subtle details are lost or ghosting where the LED \u201czones\u201d can be seen behind the content.<\/p>\n<p>By comparison, OLED is self-emissive, which means reproducing black is a simple case of turning the pixels off. This allows OLED displays to have a striking, theoretically infinite contrast ratio. This <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>ly leads to superior image quality, especially in a dark room where blacks stand out.<\/p>\n<p>While OLED <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> is great in a dark environment, LED TVs are better in brightly lit rooms since these models can get brighter. OLED sets may be susceptible to permanent image retention or \u201cburn-in,\u201d\u00a0limiting how bright they can get. They\u2019re also more expensive than their LCD counterparts, but the price has fallen significantly over the last five years.<\/p>\n<p>How you intend to use the TV will dictate whether you need gaming features like HDMI 2.1 support. The 4K C1 smart TV has an updated remote, a new version of LG\u2019s webOS software, and is available in larger 83-inch screen size. The C1 (and, by extension, the CX) delivers excellent image quality and great gaming features at a compelling price point.<\/p>\n<p>The C1 is an OLED TV that produces an excellent, contrasty image with deep blacks that\u2019s most at home in a dark room. Since OLED sets are susceptible to burn-in, the C1 isn\u2019t suited to displaying static images like those on rolling <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> channels. LG included features like pixel shifting, logo luminance reduction, and a pixel refresher routine to keep the panel in good health.<\/p>\n<p>The C1 has a very low input lag for all types of gaming, including 4K HDR content at 120Hz. There\u2019s a slew of gaming features, including four HDMI 2.1 ports, support for both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync, and a new \u201cGame Optimizer\u201d menu.<\/p>\n<p>Dolby Vision and HDR10 are both supported, though the C1 loses points in the HDR department due to the limitations of the OLED panel.
