{"id":401750,"date":"2022-01-31T18:53:21","date_gmt":"2022-01-31T15:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/da-drops-andrew-cuomos-last-sexual-harassment-criminal-case\/"},"modified":"2022-01-31T18:53:21","modified_gmt":"2022-01-31T15:53:21","slug":"da-drops-andrew-cuomos-last-sexual-harassment-criminal-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/da-drops-andrew-cuomos-last-sexual-harassment-criminal-case\/","title":{"rendered":"#DA drops Andrew Cuomo&#8217;s last sexual harassment criminal case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#DA drops Andrew Cuomo&#8217;s last sexual harassment criminal case<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>ALBANY \u2014 An upstate district attorney\u2019s office is dropping its criminal investigation of sexual harassment allegations against Andrew Cuomo \u2014 shutting down the last of five criminal cases involving the disgraced ex-governor.<\/p>\n<p>But Oswego DA Gregory Oakes told The Post on Monday that while there\u2019s not \u201csufficient legal basis\u201d to bring charges based on allegations of unwanted physical contact by accuser Virginia Limmiatis, \u201cthis decision is not an exoneration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter a thorough review of the available evidence and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>licable law, the Oswego County District Attorney\u2019s Office has concluded that there is not a sufficient legal basis to bring criminal charges against former Governor Andrew Cuomo based upon the allegations of unwanted physical contact made by Virginia Limmiatis,\u201d Oakes said in a statement Monday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo be clear, this decision is based solely upon an assessment of the law and whether the People can establish a legally sufficient case under controlling precedent. She has further made herself available to my office.
