The new\u00a0Craob X changes one thing we\u2019re all accustomed to with laptops\u2014it removes all of the ports in favor of creating an incredibly thin device. Whether that tradeoff will be worth it is up to each person, but it\u2019s an interesting design choice.<\/p>\n

As you might expect, the\u00a0Craob X laptop relies on wireless charging to receive a charge, as reported by My Laptop Guide<\/a>. The tradeoff, of course, is that the computer drops the extra depth added by even tiny USB-C ports. The result is a device with a depth of only\u00a07mm. Compare that to the MacBook Air, which is 16mm thick, and it\u2019s clear there\u2019s a noticeable difference.<\/p>\n

The laptop is lighter than most, tipping the scales at only 1.9 pounds. Again, using the MacBook Air as a comparison, App<\/a>le\u2019s laptop weighs\u00a02.8 pounds. That\u2019s almost a full pound lighter, which is a difference you\u2019ll notice.<\/p>\n

Of course, you have to ask yourself if losing almost a pound and a little less than a centimeter is worth sacrificing the USB-C ports you\u2019ve grown to know and love. You can use the wireless charger that comes with the new\u00a0Craob X as a ports hub, so you\u2019ll still have access to USB, SD, and so on while connected.<\/p>\n

As far as other specs, the\u00a0Craob X boasts some solid hardware. It comes with a\u00a013.3\u2033 4K UHD display,\u00a0DDR5 RAM, SSD storage, and up to a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-1280P processor.<\/p>\n

It might seem hard to imagine a world where laptops and phones have no ports, but rumors of a portless iPhone have circulated for a while, so this laptop might be ahead of its time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
