At one point, it did seem like a project was in development; however, actress Paget Brewster suggested last year that it looked as though it wasn\u2019t going to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en.<\/p>\n<p>However, this morning a small injection of life was put back into a potential revival. Speaking to reporters at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour, here is what Tanya Gills, Chief Programming Officer at ViacomCBS Streaming, had to say on the matter per <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvline.com\/2022\/02\/01\/criminal-minds-season-16-revival-paramount-plus-status-cancelled\/\">TVLine<\/a>: \u201cWe are still very much in development on Criminal Minds. We\u2019d argue it, but also wouldn\u2019t write anything down in a permanent marker. We understand why it would be brought back for more, as the original remains one of the most-streamed shows of\u00a0<em>anything\u00a0<\/em>out there. If she show\u00a0<em>does\u00a0<\/em>come back, we imagine that it\u2019d be a combination of a straight revival and reboot: We could see a few actors from the original show coming back alongside some new faces. We could see similarities between this and\u00a0<em>CSI: Vegas,\u00a0<\/em>but we\u2019d personally hope that a new\u00a0<em>Criminal Minds\u00a0<\/em>would have a few more original characters around full-time.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll continue to keep watch on all of this, but we don\u2019t think a revival is imminent.
