\nSummer House<\/em>\u2026 of lies?<\/p>\n

Kristin Cavallari<\/strong> did NOT step out of the friend zone with Craig Conover<\/strong>, unlike what he tried to reveal on Monday night\u2019s episode of Summer House<\/em>! During the dramatic episode, the 32-year-old claimed he and the Uncommon James<\/strong> founder hooked up over the summer, but now it sounds like the TV personality was just bluffing.<\/p>\n

According to an Us Weekly<\/em> source, the whole thing was a lie! They shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s making it up \u2014 it\u2019s not true. They never hooked up.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The insider went on to insist that the reality star is \u201cjust capitalizing on her name\u201d to get more attention. Damn!<\/p>\n

While Kristin hasn\u2019t responded to the claims herself, the source thinks that\u2019s purposeful. She could care less about giving Craig or the series<\/a> the time of day, the confidant noted:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s not watching Summer House<\/em> or giving any attention to it. She doesn\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Harsh! LOLz!<\/p>\n

This wouldn\u2019t be the first time Cavallari would have to deny the \u201clove triangle\u201d speculation, though. Over the summer, as her friendship with Craig and Austen Kroll<\/strong> was at its most public, she denied ever having feelings for or hooking up with either of them, saying on her Instagram Story<\/strong> In July:<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t been involved in a love triangle since I was in high school.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That, of course, was a reference to her romance with former boyfriend Stephen Colletti<\/strong> and classmate Lauren Conrad<\/strong> captured on Laguna Beach<\/em>. She continued:<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t dated anybody in a few months. These two guys who I have been linked to for the past year are my friends. That\u2019s it. I\u2019ve never dated either one of them. I can guarantee that I\u2019m not going to date either one of them. It\u2019s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

But that\u2019s not what Conover was trying to spill\u2026<\/p>\n

In the episode in question (filmed in July), the possible love triangle was brought up after Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong> spilled the tea upon her arrival at the Hamptons. When confronted about the situation, the Deleware native told Paige DeSorbo<\/strong>, his girlfriend since May, that the rumors were true, explaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I\u2019ll tell you, it was, like, I\u2019ve hooked up with her before.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Later, Paige questioned the hookup, adding that when she heard the rumors she assumed Kristin had gotten together with Austen, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cLindsay, was like, on the, like, whole car ride with Austen, she was like, \u2018Who was Kristin hooking up with? Craig or Austen?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Interrupting her, Conover claimed Kroll \u201chates that I was making out [with Kristin].\u201d DeSorbo was just as confused as viewers, telling her beau:<\/p>\n

\u201cI look like I\u2019m in this love triangle that I didn\u2019t ask to be in.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He insisted that wasn\u2019t the case, but the episode ended up on the biggest cliffhanger. Paige asked:<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you still f**king her?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A \u201cto be continued\u201d sign flashed across the screen before the episode ended. Wow!<\/p>\n

As Perezcious readers know, the author became friends with Craig and Austen following her divorce from Jay Cutler<\/strong> in April 2020. She\u2019s repeatedly denied rumors ever since, so it\u2019s hard to imagine how Craig thinks he\u2019s going to get away with these lies if Kristin\u2019s statements are true??<\/p>\n
