\nGunna\u2019s DS4Ever<\/em> arrived on January 7 boasting app<\/a>earances from the likes of Drake, Future, Lil Baby, 21 Savage and Chloe Bailey \u2014 an all-star cast that helped the album beat out The Weeknd\u2019s Dawn FM<\/em> for the top spot on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n

However, there was one A-list artist missing from the tracklist, despite Gunna\u2019s best efforts to secure the collaboration.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Dana Cortez Show<\/em>, Nicki Minaj revealed the Atlanta rapper wanted her to appear on \u201cP Power\u201d (short for \u201cPussy Power\u201d), but despite sitting with the song for months, she ultimately turned it down.<\/p>\n

According to Nicki, the track was simply too raunchy for her liking now that she\u2019s a mother.<\/p>\n

\u201cGunna came to my studio months ago and he asked me to get on his song \u2018Pussy Power,’\u201d she said. \u201cI heard the beat and I went [crazy]. I was like, \u2018This beat is outta here!\u2019 No lie, I sat with the song for months and months and couldn\u2019t bring myself to write to the record.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like the moaning and the groaning on the track \u2026 I knew in order to get on a track like that I would have to be explicit and, in my opinion, I would have to really kill it and talk that real talk. And I wasn\u2019t ready, I just wasn\u2019t there.\u201d<\/p>\n
