Virtual pop star\u00a0Hatsune Miku<\/strong>\u00a0is everywhere. Once the flagship of the Vocaloid franchise, she’s taken on something of a life of her own \u2014 app<\/a>earing in commercials, anime<\/a>, and even on late-night talk shows. Now,\u00a0Wizards of the Coast<\/strong>\u00a0is teasing her involvement in the 91st\u00a0Magic: The Gathering<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0expansion. How? Why? We don’t have full details yet, but the announcement art is pretty sick.<\/p>\n

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0returns to MtG’s world of Kamigawa, the largely Japanese-inspired setting of the card game<\/a>’s 33rd, 34th, and 35th expansions. The new expansion is set 1,200 years later, blending ninja and samurai combat with a cyberpunk aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Today on the game’s\u00a0official French Twitter account<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, a new\u00a0Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0image was posted, showing Miku against a Kamigawa backdrop and surrounded by MtG cards. The tweet translates to: “We will tell you everything, tomorrow, around 3pm.”<\/p>\n
