\n \u201cDoomsday\u201d cult mom Lori Vallow asked her husband in a call from jail if police were searching his house the day her children\u2019s bodies were discovered on his property, according to the recorded conversation played in court Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Vallow called Chad Daybell on June 9, 2020, at 11:03 a.m. \u201cAre they seizing stuff?\u201d she asked Daybell. \u201cThey\u2019re searching,\u201d he replied in the muffled audio. Most of the brief recording was inaudible, but at one point Vallow asked Daybell, \u201cWhat can I do for you?\u201d before he tells her, \u201cI love you so much.\u201d<\/p>\n

She replies, \u201cI love you. Should I try to call you later?\u201d<\/p>\n

Daybell, in a distressed tone, answered, \u201cI don\u2019t know, I don\u2019t know. You can try. I\u2019ll answer if I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

The recording of the call was played at the second day of hearings in the Fremont County Courthouse to determine whether Daybell\u2019s case will remain in state court.<\/p>\n

On the afternoon of the day it was made, investigators discovered the corpses of her autistic son Joshua \u201cJJ\u201d Vallow and his 17-year-old sister, Tylee Ryan, on a section of Daybell\u2019s property in Rexburg, Idaho.<\/p>\n

JJ was found bound like a mummy in duct tape and plastic near his sister\u2019s badly charred corpse in a pet cemetery, the court heard Monday.<\/p>\n

Vallow and Daybell were part of a doomsday cult called Preparing a People, which believes in prepping for a second coming of Jesus Christ and the end of days.<\/p>\n

One of Vallow\u2019s friends has said the mom repeatedly told her last year that JJ and Tylee had become \u201czombies\u201d \u2014 and that the only way to get rid of an evil spirit was to kill the possessed person.<\/p>\n

Daybell and wife Vallow, who is expected to have a hearing at a later date, are accused of concealing evidence by hiding the children\u2019s bodies \u2014 but they are not charged with murder. They\u2019re each being held on $1 million bond.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
