\u201cIn\u00a02021,\u00a0we\u00a0opened\u00a03,057\u00a0net\u00a0new\u00a0units,\u00a0driven\u00a0by\u00a04,180\u00a0gross\u00a0unit\u00a0openings with meaningful contributions from each of our brands, marking the strongest growth year in our history and setting an industry record for unit development,\u201d said David Gibbs, Yum\u2019s chief executive, on the Wednesday earnings call, according to a FactSet tran<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo put that into context, as the world\u2019s largest restaurant company, we opened a new restaurant, on average, every two hours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p> Habit Burger and Grill is also part of the Yum portfolio. That chain added 26  new restaurants.<\/p>\n<p>KFC added 2,471 locations, the most of the company\u2019s brands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read: <\/strong>Flies for breakfast? Insects are about to be pet food, and the effort will aim for human plates as well<\/p>\n<p>Yum reported a fourth-quarter profit miss, but revenue that beat Street expectations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe operating backdrop is still experiencing pockets of pressure, while tailwinds are increasingly blowing across global markets,\u201d wrote MKM Partners\u2019 Brett Levy in a post-earnings note.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe resurgence of its global development plans across its multiple brands continues to highlight our optimism, while the ongoing investments in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> and innovation are supporting their cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>MKM rates Yum stock buy with a $150 price target, up from $145.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See: <\/strong>Taco Bell parent Yum Brands acquires digital ordering business<\/p>\n<p>Yum\u2019s quarterly report also talked about the menu, with KFC\u2019s chicken sandwich \u201ca\u00a0significant\u00a0driver\u00a0of our positive sales momentum for the business going forward,\u201d according to Gibbs. <\/p>\n<p>Yum stock was up 2.2% on Wednesday trading and has gained 21.8% over the past year.
