Nanaki Nanao<\/strong>\u2018s Helck<\/em> fantasy manga is getting an anime adaptation. The news<\/a> was announced by Shogakukan editor Shou Kobayashi on Twitter<\/a> with an illustration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Helck<\/em> ran from 2014 to 2017 with 12 tankoubon volumes. It was serialized in Ura Sunday magazine and the MangaONE app<\/a> and published under the Ura Shonen Sunday Comics label. The story takes place after the defeat of the Demon King at the hands of a hero. With the Demon King\u2019s throne vacant, a battle kicks off to determine his successor. Unexpectedly, one of the participants is a mighty human called Helck, who claims to hate other humans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
