Charlie is heading home to her apartment. She\u2019s a make-up artist, and she is waiting for her girlfriend to come back home. Charlie is relaxing, smooth sailing so far.<span id=\"more-171855\"\/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171861\" src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-6.jpg 550w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-6-310x130.jpg 310w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-6-100x42.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Charlie takes a bubble bath, drinks a glass of wine, and she looks relaxed, while I sit here nervous. I love the slow feeling of scary <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>, that pace where someone slowly walks into a room and you\u2019re not quite sure what is going to be there. Emily Bennett is doing a great job.<\/p>\n<p>The music, the little notes from her girlfriend. Emily and Justin Brooks put a lot of small details into <em>Alone With You<\/em>. It\u2019s beautifully shot. Charlie calls her girlfriend again; she is keeping track of everything. Charlie is remembering moments with her girlfriend. She gets messages from Thea played by Dora Madison. Speaking of Dora Madison, if you haven\u2019t seen<em> Bliss<\/em> and <em>VFW<\/em>, go watch those movies. Thea is the best, she is awesomeness. Oh, isolation and COVID. It\u2019s all insanity. I\u2019m watching a movie about strange isolation while the pandemic just carries on.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie gets a video call from her mom portrayed by Barbara Crampton (<em>King Knight, Superhost, Jakob\u2019s Wife, You\u2019re Next, From Beyond<\/em>). Her mom sort of belittles her, and asks her if she is still doing her \u201clittle make-up projects.\u201d There is an intense reaction right away. You\u2019re not quite sure what type of scary this is? It is unknown right away.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171867\" src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"275\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-7.jpg 550w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-7-310x155.jpg 310w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-7-100x50.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>This scene is impactful. Barbara Crampton is playing this loving mom and then just goes on this tirade, and Charlie\u2019s nerves start showing. People like to use guilt and torment to hurt people. Charlie is seeing things, and she is locked in her apartment.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171863\" src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-4.jpg 550w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-4-310x132.jpg 310w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-4-100x43.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>In life we are all often trapped with our own thoughts, thoughts that can be negative or positive. Charlie also loses track of time. Is it daytime or night? This is <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>py. I have a miniscule idea of what I think is happening. Meanwhile, Charlie keeps hearing things and she calls Simone again.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s scary, Charlie has herself in this frazzled bewildered state of mind. It makes you wonder what really happened to Simone? Is she out? Is she gone? Did Charlie kill her? Is Charlie dead? I have so many thoughts. Emma Myles (<em>Orange is the New Black, Law &amp; Order: Special Victims Unit<\/em>) plays Simone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171864\" src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-3.jpg 550w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-3-310x127.jpg 310w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-3-100x41.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Generation trauma is something people need to work on. Alone With You is impactful, Emily Bennett and Justin Brooks take us on this deep dive. This world where everything seems happy and beautiful but it\u2019s broken and disturbed. There is always darkness that follows light.<\/p>\n<p>Emily and Justin don\u2019t drop fast clues, there isn\u2019t a fast remedy to figure the film out. It does remind me of, <em>What Lies Beneath<\/em> (2000). My reasoning is the slowness, the movements and the terror that Michelle Pfeiffer\u2019s character Claire Spencer goes through. Claire is in this Norman Rockwell painting of a world.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-171865\" src=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-2.jpg 550w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-2-310x136.jpg 310w, https:\/\/horrornews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Alone-With-You-2021-movie-2-100x44.jpg 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The voices, the memories and flashbacks will make sense.
