There are two ways to do it, and your choice depends on the video\u2019s file size. Let\u2019s take a look.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>What Is Cloud Storage, and Why Should You Use It?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ways_to_Send_a_Video_via_Email\"><\/span>Ways to Send a Video via Email<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most email providers cap the size of the files that you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/724864\/how-to-add-attachments-to-gmail-by-pasting-files-into-chrome\/\">attach to your emails. For instance, in Gmail, you can only attach files up to 25 MB in size. In Outlook, the attachment limit is 20 MB.<\/p>\n<p>That means if your video\u2019s file size is within the allowed file limit, you can attach your video to your email directly. It will be sent like a regular attachment.<\/p>\n<p>However, if your video\u2019s file size exceeds the maximum limit, you can\u2019t attach your video to your emails. In this case, use a\u00a0cloud storage\u00a0provider\u00a0and upload your video there. Then add your video\u2019s link in your email\u00a0so that the recipient can view and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> the video. And you are all set.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Other_Options_for_Sharing_a_Video_via_Email\"><\/span>Other Options for Sharing a Video via Email<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If your video is only slightly larger than the maximum allowed limit for your email provider, try <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/howto\/14228\/compress-large-video-files-with-divx-xvid-and-autogk\/\">compressing your video\u00a0(you might want to try\u00a0zipping the file) and see if that brings the size under the allowed limit.<\/p>\n<p>Another option is to upload your video to YouTube, set the video to \u201cUnlisted\u201d so only the chosen people can watch it, and then share the video\u2019s link with your people via email. This\u00a0isn\u2019t very different from the Google Drive and OneDrive options that we discussed above.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s how you can share your videos with people via email.
