Andrew Cuomo to dictate what he wanted to be asked during an on-air interview in the early days of the pandemic, a report said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Gollust, 49, who briefly worked for the disgraced ex-gov as his communications director, passed the suggested topics along to junior producers, and wrote \u201cDone\u201d in an e-mailed reply to Cuomo\u2019s request before a 2020 interview, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/02\/18\/business\/media\/allison-gollust-cnn-cuomo.html\">The New York Times reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The messages were uncovered during an internal investigation into alleged workplace misconduct by since-fired star anchor Chris Cuomo, the report said. <\/p>\n<p>Chris Cuomo, the ex-governor\u2019s brother, was fired in December after CNN received a letter claiming he had sexually assaulted a former co-worker in his office during a foodless \u201clunch\u201d in 2011, the paper reported earlier this week. The topics were newsworthy, but it was unusual for a senior executive to be involved in the pre-interview process with her ex-employer.<\/p>\n<p>Zucker knew about many of the exchanges between Gollust and Cuomo, the paper reported.<\/p>\n<p>Zucker was forced to resign, ostensibly for not disclosing his romantic relationship with Gollust. She faced pressure to step down because corporate brass at CNN found her statement about the extent of her romantic relationship with Zucker to be \u201cmisleading,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/allison-gollust-resigned-from-cnn-after-warnermedia-determined-her-remarks-on-zucker-relationship-were-misleading-11645219933?page=1\">The Wall Street Journal reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Shortly after the consensual office romance was made public, Gollust had said her relationship with Zucker \u201cchanged during COVID.\u201d But some employees at parent company Warner<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> and CNN didn\u2019t buy it, the Journal reported. Rumors had circulated for years that the two execs had been having an affair, which played a part in ending both their marriages.<\/p>\n<p>A spokeswoman for Gollust told the Journal: \u201cContinuing to publicly debate the private details of her personal life reeks of sexism and only further underscores WarnerMedia\u2019s retaliatory actions against her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Risa Heller, a Gollust spokeswoman, also defended her journalistic integrity, and said WarnerMedia was ignorant of the \u201ceveryday [newsroom] practice,\u201d and forced her out as \u201cretaliation.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Gollust\u2019s discussions with Cuomo \u201cin no way suggested that inclusion of these topics was a condition of the interview, nor did she suggest the interview should be limited to these subjects,\u201d Heller told the Times.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
