We\u2019ll show you how to disable the virtual assistant.<\/p>\n<p>Bixby rears its ugly head in a couple of different places on the Galaxy S22. First, and perhaps the most annoying, is that holding the power button brings up Bixby instead of the power menu. Second, there\u2019s a \u201cHi, Bixby\u201d wake-up command. You\u2019ll see the regular power menu with the option to Power Off and Restart.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_Off_the_Bixby_Wake-Up_Command\"><\/span>Turn Off the Bixby Wake-Up Command<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bu default, you can use Bixby by simply saying \u201cHi, Bixby\u201d from anywhere. If you don\u2019t want to use Bixby, this listening for the command in the background is just eating up the battery.
