“#NYC man killed by falling tree during Tropical Storm Isaias identified<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n The man killed when a tree uprooted by Tropical Storm Isaias crashed on his car has been identified as an East Harlem resident, according to cops.<\/p>\n

Mario Siles, 60, was inside his 2014 Dodge van around 1 p.m. Tuesday when a large tree crashed onto the roof of the vehicle, crushing it and pinning him inside, cops said.<\/p>\n

Siles was pronounced dead on scene.<\/p>\n

The man was the first and only death blamed on the tropical storm.<\/p>\n

A woman was also critically injured by a falling branch that hit her while she was walking on Dumont Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn, police sources said.<\/p>\n

Thousands remained without power citywide Wednesday morning after the storm ripped through the region.<\/p>\n
