Katherine Webb wants critics to leave Brent Musburger alone. <\/p>\n

During an Instagram Q&A last week, the model wife of Falcons quarterback A.J. McCarron was asked if she\u2019s ever met Musburger \u2014 whose commentary about her looks went viral in 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t but we have exchanged friendly statements thru separate interviews,\u201d Webb replied, according to Awesemo.com<\/a>. \u201cListen leave that man alone he didn\u2019t do nuthin wrong LOL.\u201d<\/p>\n

Webb, a former Miss Alabama, made headlines during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game<\/a> when cameras focused on her and Musburger fawned over McCarron\u2019s then-girlfriend. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you\u2019re a quarterback at Alabama, you see that lovely lady there?\u201d Musburger said on the broadcast. \u201cShe does go to Auburn but she also is Miss Alabama and that\u2019s A.J. McCarron\u2019s girlfriend. \u2026 You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow.\u201d<\/p>\n

ESPN later issued an apology for Musburger\u2019s on-air comments about the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model. <\/p>\n

At the time, Webb said she was flattered by the comments during an app<\/a>earance on the \u201cToday\u201d show. <\/p>\n

She previously told The Post that Musburger \u201cdidn\u2019t need to apologize.\u201d<\/p>\n

Webb has been married to McCarron since 2014 and the couple shares three children together. The former Alabama quarterback was originally drafted by the Bengals in 2014 and has since bounced around the league, joining the Falcons in April 2021.<\/p>\n
