\nWhile Kanye West has yet to drop his highly anticipated follow-up to 2021\u2019s\u00a0DONDA,<\/em>\u00a0he announced earlier this week he wouldn\u2019t be\u00a0uploading\u00a0DONDA 2<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0to digital streaming platforms such as App<\/a>le Music, Spotify and Amazon. Instead, Ye said the new project would only be available via the customizable Stem Player he released in 2021.<\/p>\n

Kanye West, for all intents and purposes, still plans to release DONDA\u00a02<\/em>\u00a0on Tuesday (February 22) and will premiere the album during another massive listening event at LoanDepot Park Stadium in Miami, Florida. Fans have already clamored to get a hold of Ye\u2019s Stem Player before Tuesday\u2019s event, and according to a since-deleted tweet from Kanye, the Yeezy Mogul has made over $2.2 million in the process.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo earn the $2.2 million we made on the first day on the stem player the album would have had to stream 500 million times,\u201d Ye captioned the post. \u201cWe did more revenue on stem player, without the album even being out, than we would have done with the album being out on streaming.\u201d<\/p>\n
