But if you\u2019re a heavy user, it can be hard to keep track of everything. Smart lists can help.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Do_Smart_Lists_Work\"><\/span>How Do Smart Lists Work?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Apple\u2019s smart lists work similarly to smart folders on the Mac (and smart folders in Apple Notes, too). A smart list pulls in reminders from your other lists based on criteria of your choosing.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say you\u2019ve got three main lists that you use regularly: Work, Home, and Shopping. On this list are items with due dates, that must be completed soon above all of the others. Rather than visiting each list independently, you can create a smart list that pulls in any items that are due in the next day (or week, or month, or whatever you like).<\/p>\n<p>You can call this new smart list \u201cDue Today\u201d and check it in the morning, so you know what\u2019s due at work, which items around the house need your im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te attention, and which items you should pick up on the way home. If you have multiple household tasks on different lists, create a \u201cLocation\u201d smart list and call it \u201cAround the House\u201d that displays only household tasks.<\/p>\n<p>You can also create \u201cPriority\u201d and \u201cFlagged\u201d smart lists to highlight your most important items across all of your lists. On a Mac, tap on the \u201cMake into Smart List\u201d checkbox, then specify your criteria below.
