Slack didn\u2019t get a three-day weekend, so it\u2019s taking the day off. The chat client isn\u2019t loading some messages, threads, or channels this Tuesday morning, and the official Slack Status page<\/a> shows that many of Slack\u2019s messaging features are non-functioning.<\/p>\n

Update, 2\/22\/22 1:00 pm Eastern:<\/strong> Slack is back online for all users. If Slack is still giving you trouble, quit the app<\/a> or log out and try again. We will leave this article unedited for posterity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Update, 2\/22\/22 10:52 am Eastern:<\/strong> Slack is now partially working for some users. That said, the Slack Status page still says that the app is experiencing problems.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oddly enough, Slack experienced an outage on Monday afternoon at around 9 PM EST. This outage was resolved, but new problems cropped up Tuesday morning shortly after 8 AM EST. Slack has confirmed on Twitter<\/a> that some customers may be \u201cexperiencing issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Until Slack is back in action, you\u2019ll have to contact your co-workers via email, Twitter DMs, or some other platform. Or if you\u2019re feeling chaotic, you could just take the day off.<\/p>\n
