Publisher Curve Game<\/a>s and developer Neon Giant will release cyberpunk action RPG The Ascent<\/em> for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on March 24, the companies announced.<\/p>\n

Pre-orders are available now and include an exclusive RPEG 33 energy-type Rocket Launcher with a unique laser sight in the console family\u2019s signature blue color.<\/p>\n

The Ascent<\/em> first launched for Xbox Series<\/a>, Xbox One, and PC via Steam<\/a> and Microsoft Store<\/a> on July 29, 2021. It is also avaialble via Xbox Game Pass.<\/p>\n

A solo and co-op action\u2013shooter RPG set in a science<\/a>-fiction cyberpunk world, The Ascent<\/em> is the first title from Neon Giant, a new 12-person studio composed of games industry veterans who were some of the minds behind iconic AAA titles such as the Gears of War<\/em>, Bulletstorm<\/em>, and Wolfenstein<\/em> franchises. The game will target 60 frames per second and have full 4K support on the Xbox Series X, offering amazing gameplay performance for new generation console players.<\/p>\n

The Ascent<\/em> will see players dive into \u201cThe Ascent Group\u201d arcology, a self-contained corporate-run metropolis, stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. Taking on the role of an indentured worker, the world starts to go haywire when The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons. Life becomes a case of survival, with rival corporations and crime syndicates looking to fill the empty space. Players will have to take up arms and hold them off. The Ascent<\/em> begins here.<\/p>\n

The Ascent<\/em> will offer players the chance to step into an action-orientated science-fiction RPG powered by Unreal Engine that takes the genre to new levels, available to play in both single-player and up to four-player co-op.<\/p>\n
