There\u2019s also the regular slew of smaller updates and tweaks that give us a glimpse into the future of Windows 11.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tablet-Optimized_Taskbar_in_Windows_11\"><\/span>Tablet-Optimized Taskbar in Windows 11<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re introducing a new taskbar state that\u2019s specifically designed to make you feel more confident and comfortable using your device as a tablet,\u201d said Microsoft in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/windows-insider\/2022\/02\/24\/announcing-windows-11-insider-preview-build-22563\/\">blog post<\/a> for Windows Insiders.<\/p>\n<p>With the new taskbar mode, you\u2019ll get a\u00a0collapsed and expanded view. In collapsed mode, the taskbar slides out of the way, giving you room to interact with your touchscreen. In expanded, you get a bigger taskbar with buttons designed to be touched instead of clicked with a mouse.
