The Case Study of Vanitas<\/span><\/i> teased a new key visual featuring the characters Vanitas, No\u00e9, and Mikhail. The anime<\/a> is currently running in its second cour that <\/span>premiered<\/span> with episode 13 on January 14, 2022. 24 episodes will be aired in total.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The anime is an adaptation of <\/span>Jun Mochizuki<\/b>\u2019s manga of the same name. It is currently covering the <\/span>Beast of G\u00e9vaudan<\/span> arc that was teased with a special trailer last December. The original manga has run in Square Enix\u2019s Monthly Gangan Joker magazine since 2015 and has published nine tankoubon volumes so far.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomoyuki Itamura<\/b> (Owarimonogatari)<\/span><\/i> is the series<\/a> director,<\/span> Deko Akao<\/b> (The Dungeon of Black Company)<\/span><\/i> is the main script<\/a>writer, and <\/span>Yoshiyuki Itou<\/b> (Carole & Tuesday)<\/span><\/i> is the character designer and chief animation director. <\/span>Chiyo Nakayama<\/b> (Demon Lord, Retry!) <\/span><\/i>is the sub-character designer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
