That\u2019s not good \u2014 because actors make up the biggest voting bloc at the upcoming Academy Awards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As Scooby Doo would say, \u201cRuh roh!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Netflix, the producer of director Jane Campion\u2019s drama, started getting nervous when the favored Best Supporting Actor contender Kodi Smit-McPhee lost to the wonderful Troy Kotsur for \u201cCODA\u201d early in the evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Moments later, Kirsten Dunst was brought to heel for Best Supporting Actress by Ariana DeBose for her ferocious turn as Anita in \u201cWest Side Story.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The final yell of \u201cbad dog!\u201d came when Benedict Cumberbatch surrendered Best Actor to Will Smith (\u201cKing Richard\u201d), who will now surely go on to win the same award at the Oscars, after nabbing the SAG and the Golden Globe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPower of the Dog\u201d didn\u2019t even manage a nomination for Best Ensemble.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That slight doesn\u2019t necessarily mean it\u2019s out of the Best Picture Oscar race completely \u2014 \u201cNomadland,\u201d \u201cGreen Book\u201d and \u201cShape of Water\u201d also didn\u2019t nab nods for the biggest SAG prize \u2014 but winning zero acting awards will have rabid Netflix execs growling Monday morning.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/08\/coda-4.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Leo (Daniel Durant), Jackie (Marlee Matlin) and Ruby (Emilia Jones) swipe left on Tinder profiles in the movie &quot;CODA.&quot;\" class=\"wp-image-19110114\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/08\/coda-4.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/08\/coda-4.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/08\/coda-4.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>\u201cCODA\u201d was the big winner at the SAG Awards, taking Best Supporting Actor (Troy Kotsur) and Best Ensemble.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">\u00a9<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le TV\/Courtesy Everett Coll<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>That big ensemble win instead went to \u201cCODA,\u201d the heartwarming dramedy that premiered at Sundance about a hearing woman who grows up in a deaf family.
