Midge is being given one last set (of episodes). The fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em> debuts tomorrow and Amazon has now announced that the comedy-drama has been renewed for a fifth season. However, season five will also be the end of the Prime Video show.<\/p>\n

A period dramedy, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em> stars Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Zegen, Alex Borstein, Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Caroline Aaron, and Jane Lynch. The story centers on Miriam \u201cMidge\u201d Maisel (Brosnahan), a wife and homemaker on New York City\u2019s Upper West Side, in the late 1950s and early \u201960s. After her husband, Joel (Zegen), leaves her, Midge discovers a talent for standup comedy and pursues her new dream.<\/p>\n

For nearly five years, the history-making comedy has delighted fans from the Upper West Side to more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Production for the fifth and final season is currently underway in New York City.<\/p>\n
