\nWendy Williams<\/strong> is just a magnet for rumors these days!<\/p>\n

But the latest rumor about the daytime diva seems to have developed the old-fashioned way \u2014 pure fan speculation!<\/p>\n

OK, so it all started with her legal battle with Wells Fargo<\/strong> \u2014 who are keeping her money from her, apparently because they\u2019re under the impression she\u2019s been the victim of \u201cundue influence\u201d and isn\u2019t in a condition to make her own decisions. We\u2019ve heard those rumors, too, but that\u2019s a serious legal accusation to make when we\u2019re talking about the woman\u2019s money!<\/p>\n

As part of her struggle against the bank, Wendy hired attorney LaShawn Thomas<\/strong> of the Miami Entertainment Law Group<\/strong> \u2014 the same lawyer who happens to be the general<\/a> counsel for ex\u00a0Kevin Hunter<\/strong>\u2018s businesses!<\/p>\n

Seems odd Wendy would get anywhere near a lawyer repping her ex after their contentious split, right?<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t recall, Wendy filed for divorce from Kevin back in 2019 after 20 years together. That also meant firing him as her manager and an exec producer on\u00a0The Wendy Williams Show<\/em>. The whole thing was pretty messy. As recently as January 2021, Wendy was still blasting the man as a \u201cserial cheater\u201d \u2014 something evidenced by the reveal of his secret love child. Wendy told Billy Bush<\/strong> about the split:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t regret falling in love with Kevin\u2026 and I definitely don\u2019t regret getting the best divorce attorney I could\u2026 and fighting tooth and nail to get everything out of that divorce.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

OK so how does she get from there to hiring one of his attorneys??<\/p>\n

Fans are now wondering if the longtime couple are back together. But while Kevin has been \u201chelping\u201d Wendy a bit through this rough patch, a source tells\u00a0The Sun<\/em> it\u2019s not romantic:<\/p>\n

\u201cKevin has been supportive of her and is helping her, but it\u2019s not true that they are getting back together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s probably for the best! In fact, the insider confirms Kevin is still with\u00a0Sharina Hudson<\/strong>, the woman he had been cheating with for years and the mother of his love child.<\/p>\n

The source says Kevin is not interested in trying to reconcile with Wendy \u201cbecause he has his whole other life.\u201d The source says:<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for the sake of their son, he is helping her and helping Kevin Jr.<\/strong> navigate what Wendy needs to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

We know Wendy is leaning heavily on Kevin Jr. \u2014 but the young man needed a little help with the new responsibility, says the source:<\/p>\n
