And when they acquire a bunch of engineers doing something amazing with trains, that\u2019s when things start to get really interesting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week, <\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ffi.com.au\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fortescue Future Industries<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (FFI), the green arm of Forrest\u2019s \u200b\u200bFortescue Metals Group, acquired UK company Williams Advanced Engineering (WAE).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To mark the purchase, WAE and Fortescue announced the development of a world-first, zero-emission \u201cInfinity Train.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_the_heck_is_an_Infinity_Train\"><\/span><strong>What the heck is an Infinity Train?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s all about battery innovation.
