The frightening moment im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely brought the curtain down, and a doctor from the audience came rushing to help the <em>Rocketman<\/em> star. After a 40 minute intermission, director <strong>Marianne Elliot<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared on stage to assure the crowd that Egerton was \u201cabsolutely fine.\u201d The last 15 minutes of the production then resumed with understudy <strong>Joel Harper-Jackson<\/strong> stepping into his part. The show must go on, apparently! A statement from the production team also said at the time:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDuring this evening\u2019s first preview of Mike Bartlett\u2019s play \u2018Cock\u2019 at the Ambassadors Theatre, Taron Egerton fainted towards the end of the performance. A doctor who was in the audience attended to Taron immediately after the incident, and whilst he felt fine, it was decided that Taron\u2019s understudy, Joel Harper-Jackson would continue in the role to complete the performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Related: Jenna Jameson \u2018Still Unable To Stand\u2019 Two Months After Mystery Health Scare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Egerton took to <strong>Instagram Stories<\/strong> to confirm that he was \u201ccompletely fine\u201d in his own statement. He wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAs some of you may have heard, I passed out during the first performance of COCK last night. I am completely fine. Slightly sore neck and a bruised ego but I\u2019m fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Although his big night was ruined, the <strong>Golden Globe<\/strong> winner explained that he decided \u201cto put a positive spin\u201d on the incident, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI would appreciate it if anyone who was in the theatre last night just said I gave such a committed, electrifying performance that my body couldn\u2019t handle it and I checked out. That being said, apparently you\u2019re meant to actually do the full show and not just three quarters of it. So I\u2019ll be back with a vengeance tomorrow night.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He then thanked his fellow cast member Jackson for taking over for him:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThank you to the amazing team at the theatre and my wonderful castmates for being so lovely. But mainly I wanted to say thanks to Joel Harper Jackson who stepped in to do the last bit of the play. Joel is an amazing actor and a lovely person. Thank you Joel.
