Together, they preview how Season 6 is going to turn any semblance of ease on its head.<\/p>\n<p>And while Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) are coping with her PTSD and his long-simmering tensions with Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones), their daughter Brianna and son-in-law Roger are leading a relatively lighter path.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1035281\" style=\"width: 865px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1035281\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1035281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-855x570.jpg\" alt=\"Outlander Season 6 cast portrait \" width=\"855\" height=\"570\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-855x570.jpg 855w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-434x289.jpg 434w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-234x155.jpg 234w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait-570x380.jpg 570w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/outlander-season-6-cast-portrait.jpg 2028w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 855px) 100vw, 855px\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1035281\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">(Credit: Starz)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>While Skelton promises there will be some turbulence ahead, the actress says, \u201cI do think that this is actually the first season where we don\u2019t really have Brianna and Roger at the center of the crumbling, they are very much the rocks in this season,\u201d hinting at their solid-state in Season 6. \u201cThey are the calm in the chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Roger is taking on new responsibilities at the Ridge as Rankin comments on his character\u2019s incoming role. \u201cSo, we see Roger trying his hand at being a minister this year, he kind of falls into that though almost by necessity.\u201d How that will play out will remain to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>Things aren\u2019t as easygoing for Domboy and Lyle\u2019s Fergus and Marsali though, as their confidence wanes and fears lead to bad habits and bickering. \u201cIt\u2019s a lot darker,\u201d Lyle acknowledges of her character\u2019s outlook. \u201cShe\u2019s not coping and we\u2019ve never seen her do that before,\u201d the actress adds, referring to Marsali\u2019s attack by Lionel in Season 5.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the mental anguish that the attack has within Marsali and Fergus\u2019s relationship, Lyle says when it comes to \u201ckilling Lionel, there are no regrets.\u201d But Domboy notes \u201cit\u2019s actually a trauma for Fergus.\u201d Find out what he means by checking out the full interview, above, and stay tuned for more as <em>Outlander<\/em> Season 6 continues its run on Starz.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Outlander<\/strong><\/em><strong>, Season 6, Sundays, 9\/8c, Starz<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
