<\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>       Fitch Ratings made a six-notch downgrade to Russian debt, saying a sovereign default for the country is \u201cimminent,\u201d  as a result of sanctions over its invasion of Ukraine more than two weeks ago. <\/p>\n<p> The change, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fitchratings.com\/research\/sovereigns\/fitch-downgrades-russia-to-c-08-03-2022\" class=\"icon none\">announced Tuesday<\/a>, left Russian debt at a single C rating. The move follows an initial six-notch downgrade by Fitch on March 2, alongside a similar move from Moody\u2019s.
