While we have casting information and a basic plot of the pilot, there\u2019s still so much we don\u2019t know about the reboot. One thing we do know is that one of the producers of the reboot is Martin Gero. And with Gero being one of the producers, it begs the question about whether or not there might be a connection between the <em>Quantum Leap<\/em> reboot and the <em>Stargate<\/em> franchise.<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #1! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: Below First Paragraph! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: mid intro! --><br \/>\nAt best, such a connection would be unofficial because MGM owns the <em>Stargate<\/em> franchise. But it would not be outside the realm of possibility for Gero to put in a sneaky link to the franchise. Gero has been known to put such connections into his shows in the past.<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><\/p>\n<div id=\"adsninja-ad-zone-MW-Reg-Org\" class=\"adsninja-ad-zone\">\n<div id=\"dynamically-injected-refresh-ad-zone-MW-Reg-Org\" class=\"dynamically-injected-refresh-ad-zone\">\n<div class=\"ad-current\">\n<div id=\"ad-zone-container-MW-Reg-Org\" class=\"ad-zone-container ad-zone-container-content-character-count-repeatable-1\" data-no-fill-collapsable=\"false\"><strong class=\"ad-zone-advertising-tag\">MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>One of Gero\u2019s first production credits in Hollywood was as an executive producer on <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em>. He was an executive producer on all episodes of <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em> and had a hand in crafting that show. It is through his work with <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em> that he has, in the past, connected other shows that he\u2019s been involved with to the <em>Stargate<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n<p>For example, in the show <em>Blindspot<\/em>, which he also executive produced on, there was a small connection to <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em> that fans of the franchise would absolutely have caught im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely. In the season three episode of <em>Blindspot<\/em> entitled \u201cLet It Go,\u201d we are introduced to the father of the character Patterson, who is Bill Nye played by Bill Nye. During the course of the episode, Bill Nye mentions that his wife co-authored a paper with his arch-nemesis, Rodney McKay. The two programs are owned by different companies, and therefore any connection would have to be a simple reference and not something that would directly refer to the stargate or any of the aliens or <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> from the show.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, as seen by the connection done in <em>Blindspot<\/em>, such a connection is possible. But what would such a connection look like in <em>Quantum Leap<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>The connection would have to be subtle, so it would have to be something that was a \u201cblink and you\u2019ll miss it\u201d type of reference. Maybe, much like <em>Blindspot<\/em>, it would be simply a reference to one of the characters from <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em>. Although unlikely, perhaps it could be something like Bill Nye making an appearance as a scientist coming in to consult on the Quantum Leap project.<br \/>\n<!-- Zone: character count repeatable. --><br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #3! --><br \/>\nThere remains to be seen if Gero will put in such a connection. It is entirely possible he will not, but by the same token, he does have a history of connecting his shows to <em>Stargate: Atlantis<\/em>.
