I would never say [the door] is closed. I know the front office still values him as a player and a person. \u2026 We\u2019ll see how it all plays out, but I wouldn\u2019t rule anything out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gardner didn\u2019t sign with the Yankees until just before spring training a year ago and went on to play 140 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s, as the Yankee outfield dealt with several injuries.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/20220313_YankeesSpringTraining042cs.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Yankees\" class=\"wp-image-21514792\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/20220313_YankeesSpringTraining042cs.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/20220313_YankeesSpringTraining042cs.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/20220313_YankeesSpringTraining042cs.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Aaron Hicks<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Corey Sipkin<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At 38, the Yankees wouldn\u2019t want to rely on Gardner like that again, but his agent, Joe Bick, told The Post\u2019s Joel Sherman last month that Gardner wants to continue playing and would like to finish his career with the Yankees \u2014 the team that drafted him in 2005.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>Unlike Gardner, Locastro hits from the right side. He played nine games with the Yankees last season after a trade from the Diamondbacks for minor league right-hander Keegan Curtis before he suffered a torn ACL.
