Many patients had intensive procedures early on in the pandemic when they could easily recover while working for home. In recent months, as people return to midtown and Wall Street high rises, they\u2019re opting for quicker pick-me-ups. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow that people are back in the office or in a hybrid form, they\u2019re wanting Botox, fillers, lighter maintenance lasers and peels,\u201d said Dr. Robert Schwarcz, an Upper East Side-based plastic surgeon who has seen a 30% uptick in biz over the last six months.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mojgan Fajiram, a cosmetic dentist on the East Side, has seen a similar uptick in business. \u201cI\u2019ve been in practice for 30 years \u2014 the last two years have been the most demanding we\u2019ve ever had. People are willing to pay double, but I won\u2019t allow it,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve seen so many executives now. But, after the pandemic hit \u2014 and the executive assistant at an investment bank started to zoom in on her face during virtual meetings \u2014 she decided to go for it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wanted to finally fix it,\u201d Eloshvili told The Post. So, in August of 2020, she paid $11,500 for a rhinoplasty from Upper East Side plastic surgeon Dr. Maurice Khosh. And, thanks to the flexibility of work-from-home, she didn\u2019t have to take any time off. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got paid for the day. I literally told my boss the night before, \u2018I\u2019ll be out for a few hours. I have a doctor\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointment.\u2019\u201d The next morning she went out of pocket and under the Park Avenue knife.<\/p>\n<p>She returned to the office last October, and her colleagues are none the wiser. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI notice some of them look and stare because they see something is different, but they can\u2019t put their finger on it. They say, \u2018You look great. You look amazing. I went on my lunch break,\u201d Elise Dirito, 24, told The Post about her injections for her undereye bags.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Courtesy of Dr. Jennifer Levine <\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When Elise Dirito, 24, started <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">travel<\/a>ing again in January for her job as a sales assistant, she wanted to lighten her baggage \u2014 specifically her undereye bags. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had tired eyes ever since I was little. It\u2019s been a huge insecurity of mine. I couldn\u2019t even tell you the amount of times teachers would ask me if I was sick or tired. I tried all the eye creams, but nothing worked,\u201d said Dirito, who lives in Noho.\u00a0\u201cI\u2019m only 24 \u2014 and people [would] see pictures of me and say I look older than I am and, as a woman, that\u2019s the last thing you want to hear.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>So, she turned to Upper East Side facial plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Levine, who used the injectable filler Radiesse to stimulate collagen to plump up her cheeks and the hyaluronic acid-based injectable filler Belotero in her undereye area to reduce bags. <\/p>\n<p>And with her company\u2019s new hybrid work model, she went on a mid-January weekday, during which she was able to do her job remotely.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the past you\u2019d have to take a day off to see a plastic surgeon. I went on my lunch break. The injections took 15 or 20 minutes,\u201d Dirito said of the treatment, which costs between $2,000 and $3,000. She had a procedure that shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Courtesy of Dr. Maurice Khosh<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>At the start of 2022, Hana Ajjuri, 30, began to take more and more in-person meetings with clients, initially with masks, and she was motivated to finally get the upper lip procedure she\u2019s long considered. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had lip filler in the past and it didn\u2019t give me the lift I was looking for. This is something I\u2019ve been wanting for a while \u2014 it\u2019s a problem area that\u2019s a little elongated and I\u2019m front and center in front of people all day,\u201d said Ajjuri. <\/p>\n<p>The Chelsea resident had the procedure, which shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, in early February, and was able to conveniently heal behind her mask. Now that mandates have lifted, she\u2019s showing off the results. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of my colleagues were like, \u2018You look different, but we can\u2019t tell what it is,&#8217;\u201d she continued. <\/p>\n<p>The $5,000 procedure was definitely worth it.
