To check for and install the update if you don\u2019t already have it, head to Settings &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> &gt; Software Update on your iPhone.<\/p>\n<p>You will need an iPhone 12, iPhone 13, or a newer iPhone to use this feature. Older iPhones like the iPhone 11, iPhone X, iPhone XS, and iPhone XR lines do have Face ID, but Apple hasn\u2019t enabled the new mask-unlock feature on these phones.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_tip\"><p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> If you have an older iPhone that doesn\u2019t support this feature, you can still unlock your iPhone with an Apple Watch while wearing a mask.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Set_Up_Mask_Unlock\"><\/span>How to Set Up Mask Unlock<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you have a modern iPhone that supports this feature, your iPhone will prompt you to set it up right after installing the update. You can also enable mask unlock from your iPhone\u2019s Settings app.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> As the Settings app explains, Face ID is the most accurate when you\u2019re using it only for full-face recognition. If you wear glasses, you\u2019ll be asked to remove them<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019re done, Face ID with a mask will be enabled.
