First, swift and unrelenting online outrage managed to convince the creative team behind &#8220;Sonic the Hedgehog&#8221; to completely overhaul the title character&#8217;s original\u00a0(and creepy-looking)\u00a0design. Only a few years later, some on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> attempted to get a similar movement going in order to &#8220;fix&#8221; Cortana in Paramount&#8217;s live-action &#8220;Halo&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a>. Those fan-driven efforts will have gone to waste this time around, but those behind the new series are at least attempting to explain why they arrived at this unexpected design change.<\/p>\n<p>343 Industries&#8217;\u00a0Kiki Wolfkill spoke with\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gamesradar.com\/halo-tv-series-cortana-new-design-explained\/\">GamesRadar+<\/a>\u00a0to assuage fears that this decision was perhaps evidence of embarrassment about the source material. Wolfkill, accurately and amusingly enough, points out that there <em>is<\/em> no one single Cortana design in the first place, even in the games.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It&#8217;s so funny, because we change her design for every game. And a lot of that is driven by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>. A lot of the design changes as we progress[ed] through the game generations was because we had access to better graphics, technology, more pixels, and more effects. And so it&#8217;s always been about adapting Cortana to the environment.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;In this situation, it&#8217;s so very different from the games in that she has to feel real. And by that, I don&#8217;t mean feel like a real human. She has to feel like a real AI, a real hologram, and be a character that real people are acting against &#8230;That was really the impetus in designing her \u2014 how do we make her feel very tangible in this Halo world?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fans should probably brace themselves for even more changes beyond cosmetic ones, as the first two episodes certainly hint at a drastically altered origin for Cortana. But that only adds even more legitimacy to her new <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>earance here, in my opinion.\u00a0According to original voice actor Jen Taylor\u00a0(who reprises her role in the series), this will be &#8220;&#8230;a pretty different Cortana to the one we&#8217;ve met before.&#8221;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;She has different goals than the Cortana that we have known in the past 20 years. So that is really fun.
