life fell apart. <\/p>\n<p>Maurizio Gucci, handsome scion to the Gucci luxury goods empire, was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2021\/05\/01\/the-real-murder-behind-house-of-gucci-starring-lady-gaga-adam-driver\/\">murdered by a hitman<\/a> on the steps of his Milan office \u2014 at the order of Patrizia Reggiani, his ex-wife and the mother of his two daughters.<\/p>\n<p>Allegra was 14 at the time, and her sister Alessandra was 18.<\/p>\n<p>Now, angered by Hollywood director Ridley Scott\u2019s portrayal of her family in last year\u2019s \u201cHouse of Gucci,\u201d Allegra, 40, has written a book about those \u201cdifficult\u201d years, translated from Italian (\u201cFine dei Giochi\u201d) as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> Over.\u201d Released Tuesday, it\u2019s the first time she has publicly spoken about her father\u2019s murder and her mother\u2019s sensational 1997 arrest and trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy life and that of my sister Alessandra has been a continuous re-enactment of those facts,\u201d said Allegra in a recent interview with the Italian daily <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www-corriere-it.translate.goog\/cronache\/22_marzo_09\/allegra-gucci-patrizia-reggiani-intervista-94d6d018-9f05-11ec-937a-aba34929853f.shtml?_x_tr_sl=it&amp;_x_tr_tl=en&amp;_x_tr_hl=en&amp;_x_tr_pto=op,sc\">Corriere della Sera<\/a>. \u201cEvery time we talked about it, there was that horrible photograph: Maurizio Gucci lifeless, in a pool of blood in the atrium of a building on Via Palestro.\u00a0Nobody ever wondered what we felt.\u00a0And I have not spoken so far because I was under the illusion that one day oblivion would fall on everything and that I would have room for myself.\u00a0Today, at 40, I know this will never end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Allegra told the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>paper that she decided to write the book after the release of \u201cHouse of Gucci,\u201d which she calls \u201ca bad caricature\u201d of the events that shaped her class=\"credit\">ZUMAPRESS.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She claims that Scott\u2019s film depicts her father, played by Adam Driver, as \u201cweak, spoiled.\u201d It\u2019s all false, she said, adding that her father was a hard worker and a brilliant businessman. Why didn\u2019t you shoot him yourself?\u201d asked a reporter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy eyesight is not so good,\u201d Patrizia answered. \u201cI didn\u2019t want to miss.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe half-admitted it,\u201d said Allegra, adding that three years before her father\u2019s murder, her mother underwent surgery for a brain tumor in 1992 that seemed to change her personality. \u201cI called her and asked for an explanation. Finally, she admitted: \u2018Everything I did, I did for you two.\u2019 So she had done something.
